Hammers on Czech scouting mission

West Ham are eagerly scouting the Czech republic top clubs after successes with Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal from Slavia Prague.

The Hammers missed out a Slavia Prague centre back Michal Frydrych who moved to Polish side Wisla Kraków for £750,000.

The Irons are on the lookout for a striker and a centre back and could find value in the Fortuna Liga.

Sparta Prague leads the Czech first league table with 25-year-old striker Lukas Jullis the top scorer in the league with six goals so far this season.

Adam Hlozek who plays as a second striker is the second-highest goalscorer with four goals to his name, he also plays for league leaders Sparta Prague.

Sparta have 22-yar-old Ladislav Krejčí centre back partner 31-year-old Ondřej Čelůstka in the centre of their defence.

Slavia Prague are second the league despite losing Vladimir Coufal and Tomas Soucek,

They have a 19-year-old centre back called David Zima who partners 33-year-old Ondřej Kúdela

Upfront, Slavia Prague has 22-year-old Petar Musa who has scored two goals from six appearances this season.

I like that we appear to have found ourselves a relatively untapped market of Moyes-style players. I like the Czechs.
